Clare White: The Homecoming – Kennaway House, Sidmouth – March 29 to April 6 2013
Clare White (1903 -1997) was born and brought up in Sidmouth, Devon, and this exhibition will be the first time her work has been shown back in her home town. The Homecoming exhibition will feature several paintings by White of Devon scenes, as well as works from her travels as an artist across Europe, Barbados and Egypt. The retrospective exhibition will be staged at Kennaway House, an arts centre and gallery space on Sidmouth seafront.
