About Us
Andy Pollard bought his first painting in Cornwall as a teenager – it was a Barbados village-scene painted by the indomitable Clare White (1903 – 1997). Since then, he has collected and studied her work as an art historian at Sheffield Hallam University and curated exhibitions of her vibrant, characterful paintings in St Ives, Harrogate, Sidmouth, Barnsley, Nottinghamshire and Rotherham.
Andy and his wife Steph now run this virtual gallery dedicated to enjoying Clare White’s legacy, promoting her remaining collection of paintings for sale and restoring White to her rightful place in Cornish art history.
